Billie Eilish Announces In-Person & Remote Movie Theater Listening Parties for New Album
Billie Eilish has something special planned for fans counting down the seconds until her third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft arrives May 17.
To couple with her recently announced listening parties scheduled for May 15 and 16 in New York City and Los Angeles, the singer revealed Tuesday (May 7) that fans who weren’t able to score a ticket to the in-person events can still get the full experience with HIT ME HARD AND SOFT – A Listening Event Presented by Apple Music, which is coming to Dolby Cinema at AMC Theatres locations across North America on May 16 and 17. According to a release, the event will give listeners “the chance to be one of the first to hear the new
album with a visual accompaniment.”
“[Something] special for those of u who can’t make it to la or ny,” Eilish wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing a poster for the visual project.
Tickets for the film’s two-day run cost $5 each and are available for purchase online. A portion of the proceeds will go to AMC Cares Charitable Fund, which disperses financial aid to qualified nonprofit organizations.

Hit Me Hard and Soft is less than two weeks away and Eilish has kept most details about the sound of the record under wraps. “I wanna give it to you all at once,” she wrote on Instagram about her decision not to release any lead singles. “Finneas and I truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it.”
